Reflecting on VERNACLE Gathering #5
From Friday, March 20th to Sunday, March 22nd, 2026, we held "VERNACLE GATHERING #05," our third permanent exhibition. The venue, Ogikubo, was a different location from previous events, and we were fortunate to meet many new customers. As we had little prior connection to Ogikubo, the exhibition was a mix of anxiety and anticipation, but the wonderful atmosphere and space of the gallery helped us achieve a serene finish just as we had envisioned. We apologize that the opening was a little rushed this time, as some customers lined up before we even opened.

The Appeal of Close Interaction with Customers
On the first day, despite the inclement weather, many customers and artists visited us. We extend our gratitude to artists Mai Tagawa, Hitoshi Hiraoka, and Morihiro Kawamoto for attending and kindly interacting with our customers. Furthermore, despite the short three-day event, we had visitors from Asia, including Taiwan and China, as well as from Western countries like the UK, which made us realize the growing attention our artists are receiving. When asked about how they learned about the event, most visitors mentioned seeing our artists' or VERNACLE's SNS, and we were once again amazed by the influence of social media.

Next Up: VERNACLE's First TRUNK SHOW!
We once again extend our sincere gratitude to all the customers and artists who attended this GATHERING. Next, we will be holding VERNACLE's first "TRUNK SHOW #01" from Thursday, May 28th to Sunday, May 31st, 2026, at the coffee roastery "08COFFEE" in Akita City, Akita Prefecture. This time, we will be focusing on mugs, carefully selecting items perfect for enjoying coffee at home or in the office. We look forward to talking with many different people in Akita, a place we'll be visiting for the first time. We hope for your continued patronage.
