About the work
A shape inspired by the V of "Vernacle"
The mud and lacquer are layered on top of each other while polishing. Layering is accumulation, and polishing is weathering.
I see this process as a deliberate passage of time.
However, we try not to show it too much, so at first glance it may look like a regular black pot. We are not aiming for an aged finish.
