Ercole Moretti: Ercole Moretti & Fratelli was founded in 1911 by the three Moretti brothers, Ercole, Norberto, and Iginio, with the aim of producing traditional rosetta beads and millefiori. The tradition continues to this day, with the second and third generations of the original brothers carrying on the tradition. Over the past 100 years, the company has expanded its product range to include a wide variety of items.
Millefiori was of course recognised for its originality and high quality, and by the early 1970s the pendants had become a huge hit.
After that, various plates were released, and sophisticated products made with the splendor and techniques of Roman millefiori became popular.
Over the past few years, I have been collaborating with designers to create experimental pieces.
