In Nakatsu, Aikawa-cho, Aikou-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture (formerly Nakatsu Village), broom-making techniques have been passed down for about 150 years. Nakatsu Broom preserves and develops these techniques, creating brooms that clean various modern settings.
The broomcorn material is self-produced without pesticides, and the entire manufacturing process is done by hand by artisans. The broom bristles are carefully aligned one by one to maximize the softness of the material. They are characterized by their firmness and resistance to breakage.
The more you use it, the more it conforms to your hand, gently sweeping up dirt and dust without damaging tatami mats or flooring.
