In Nakatsu, Aikawa-machi, Aikō-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture (formerly Nakatsu Village), broom-making techniques have been passed down for about 150 years. Nakatsu Broom preserves and develops these techniques, creating brooms that clean various modern spaces.
The broomcorn material is pesticide-free and grown in-house, and the entire manufacturing process is done by hand by artisans. The broom bristles are carefully aligned one by one to make the most of the material's softness. They are characterized by their firmness and resistance to breakage.
As you use it, it becomes more comfortable in your hand, gently sweeping away dust and dirt without damaging tatami mats or wooden floors.
