In Nakatsu, Aikawa-machi, Aiko-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture (formerly Nakatsu Village), broom-making techniques have been passed down for about 150 years. Nakatsu Brooms preserve and develop these techniques, creating brooms that clean various modern spaces.
The broomcorn material is grown in-house without pesticides, and the entire manufacturing process is done by hand by artisans. To maximize the softness of the material, each broom head is carefully aligned and used individually. They are characterized by their firmness and resistance to breaking.
As you use it, it becomes more comfortable in your hand, gently sweeping up dust and dirt without damaging tatami mats or flooring.
