a.278-Bendable Arrangement Tin Incense Holder-
High-purity tin is soft despite being a metal, allowing it to be bent freely.
The featured images show examples arranged for stick-type incense and bamboo-core incense, but the unique feature of this tin incense holder is that you can arrange it freely yourself.
Additionally, this product is cast by a long-established foundry in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, a city renowned for its traditional metal crafts. Casting is a manufacturing process in which molten metal is poured into a mold and allowed to solidify. Usually, the surface is polished or colored to finish it; however, at a.278, we intentionally forgo these finishing steps to highlight the texture of the patterns (known as "yunagare" or "metal flow") that form when the molten metal flows and solidifies. As a result, each piece has a unique pattern.

■ How to Use
Bend the product into your desired shape and set your preferred incense to enjoy.
Stick-type incense can be inserted into the hole in the plate.
* Please be careful when disposing of ash and incense cores.
* Depending on the incense used and the shape you have arranged, embers may fall from the hole near the end of the burn, so please ensure your tin plate arrangement is suitable for the type of incense you are using.
* You may hear a crackling or tinkling sound when bending the material; this is a phenomenon unique to tin known as the "tin cry."
■ Maintenance
To ensure long-lasting use, please follow these instructions:
(1) Wipe clean with a soft cloth dampened with water, then wipe again with a dry cloth to remove all moisture.
(2) If very dirty, clean with a mild detergent diluted with water, then wipe dry to remove all moisture.
(3) Do not use metal brushes, steel wool, thinners, benzine, etc.

・The unit may remain hot immediately after use. Please allow it to cool for about 20 minutes before handling.
