This vase is carved out of a large block of wood using a lathe, and horizontal lines are engraved on the surface, as if to represent the passage of time through tree rings.
It is interrupted by vertical lines along the way, and has an irregular finish, like a sign of growth. The presence of the wood adds depth to the space just by displaying it, but it can also be used as a vase by placing a regular cup inside. Because it is made from solid wood, cracks and fissures may appear on the surface over time, but please enjoy the changes that occur over time as a characteristic of the material.

Lorenzo Franceschinis grew up in the Friuli hinterland,
Lorenzo Franceschini, always with a rebellious spirit, wanted to travel to faraway lands, so in 2010 he returned to his hometown and began his career as a woodworker.
A lover of authenticity, he has chosen to return to craftsmanship, where quality takes precedence in every aspect.
His natural tendency to experiment and innovate soon freed him from the traditional carpenter's dogma that the imposition of monotony and seriality sacrificed the soul of the material itself.
