Memories of Italy -Berti Cheese Knife 5-Piece Set-

About Memories of Italy

Cutlery Workshop Berti The cutlery workshop Berti has been in business since 1895 in Scarperia, a town famous for its Tuscan cutlery. The workshop is committed to having each knife made by a single craftsman, and all of its products are engraved with the initials of the craftsman who made them.

For hard cheeses: Parmesan, Pecorino, etc.
Directions: Use this knife to cut and break hard, granular cheeses. Insert the blade into the cheese and use firm, even pressure to cut through the cheese, then gently break it apart.

For semi-hard cheeses: Fontina, Raschela, Fresh Tomato, Emmental, etc.
How to use: Semi-hard cheeses need a knife with a wide, thick blade that is not too heavy, so that you can cut through them without destroying the edge. At the same time, you need to be able to cut through the outside, which is harder than the inside. That's why the blade is slightly curved in the middle.

For soft cheeses: Gorgonzola, Mozzarella, etc.
Directions: The blade of a knife designed for soft or soft cheeses should be able to cut into the paste without sticking and separate it cleanly. First make a cut at an angle to the cheese, then at right angles.

Handle: Olive Blade: Stainless steel
